Golden State Utility Co. started in 1981 as a full service outside plant contractor serving the telecommunications industry in California and Nevada. In 1984, the company began turn-key installation of fiber optic cable for long distance carriers throughout the Western United States.
We expanded by adding an aerial division in 1993. In April of 1998, Golden State Utility Co. joined Quanta Services Inc., a publicly traded corporation listed on the New York Stock Exchange at ticker symbol (PWR). Click our symbol (PWR) to track Quanta Services stock.
